I purchased a barebones PC kit from TigerDirect, back in early August. It had six rebates, all to be submitted through OnRebates.com, totaling $230. I kept checking the status on their website, and after a few weeks four showed as being "accepted".
I tried to find out from them why not the other two, but couldn't talk to anyone. I tried several employee emails I found (on complaint sites like this one) and actually had a promise to make good on them within 24hrs. That didn't happen.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau of Florida and within 48 hours had a note that the remaining two rebates had been accepted. The reply they gave to the BBB said that they had accepted all of the rebates and would pay me "as stated in our terms and conditions" "within eight weeks".
Well, its now December 2nd and no money. I've filed a followup report with the BBB. Stay away from any company who passes their rebates through this firm. If you do the research, you'll find that this is a sister company to TigerDirect. I've discontinued any business with them as well.
