I first became acquainted with ArticleInsider.com through what I now know was a spam email. I have a strict rule now, now to never respond to spam. They are also known as www.infosearchmedia.com. They specialize in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and CLAIM, they can get you on the first few pages of Google. They told me I needed some articles on my site and charged me $10 per article per month. My initial purchase was for 20 articles. That was $200 per month. After six months, there was absolutely no change on my site as a result of these 20 very short articles. They were taking the money out of my bank account. After six months they had taken $1200.00 and I closed my bank account to stop them from taking any more money after I asked them to stop. They would not stop the bank draft at my request. Also, when I signed up they showed me on the home page where it said GUARANTEED or you can stop at any time. When I went back to show this to them, IT WAS GONE. When I informed my bank not to honor anymore requests from them, they told my bank I had a contract and my bank paid them so I had to close my account.
I began studying SEO and have now become quite an expert in it myself and have since optimized my own site, which was an arduous, painstaking task. Adding a few articles on your website will not give you page one ranking on Google or any other search engine. It takes a lot more than that and I have learned some very valuable information since I had the misfortune of dealing with these RIPOFFs. They tried to tell me it would take as much as a year before I would see results after we hit the 6 month mark. First it was six months, then a year.in fact, if you have an SEO expert who knows what they are doing, you will see results in as little as 2 weeks, I did finally find out.
Really check out SEO people very closely. It does not take six months or a year to rank higher in the search engine when your site is properly optimized. Also, I found out I could have purchased 20 articles for a fraction of what I ended up paying them. They wanted to charge me $400 per month for 40 articles. People charge a flat fee for article writing. I was furious when I recognized I'd been scammed. They exploit those who do not know anything about the internet or search engines or search engine optimization.
BEWARE of www.articleinsider.com and www.infosearchmedia.com. When they threatened to report me to the credit bureau for non-payment of the remaining 6 months, I threatened to file a complaint with the district attorney in their jurisdiction if they put anything on my credit report for consumer fraud. They are without a doubt a very dubious business and will just take you for a long, expensive ride and you will have nothing to show for it. Don't be fooled by their professional appearance. They are successful at fooling people into believing what they do works. I was fooled for sure. You will spend a whole lot of money for nothing. Forewarned is forearmed!
My next step is to get some of my money back. I feel they were unjustly enriched by their scheme and should be made to pay money back.
