I have the same complaints that all of the other complaintants had regarding this company. They too charged me $49.90 for the CDs that I thought I was payint around $4 for. And I thought I looked their offer well to find any hidden charges before placing my order. Imagine my surprise to see a $49.90 charge to me debit card a few weeks later!
Like another customer whose complaint I read, the customer service rep also chuckled in my ear when I called to complain. She acted like I was a doofus for not reading "Number 7" as she kept pointing out that "Number 7 clearly sates their terms". Later, I went back to their site and realized that she meant item 7 in the Terms of Use agreement. When I tried to argur that they were deceptive for not letting people know it is a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE, she just began to talk over me and would not let me speak!
I called back a second time to try to argue for a reversal of charges and was treated the same way adn told that was impossible beacuse I had had the CDs for "more than 10 days".
I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. This company has a looong list of the same kind of complaints with them as well.
I e-mailed the company and told them that I had filed with the BBB. I also told them that I was going to e-mail every major news show, such as Dateline NBC and 20/20, and hope that someone would pick the story up. I also told them that I was going to look in to the possibilty of trying to get a class action lawsuit started against them.
