Their method of explaining the actual cost is misleading and deceptive. Their "terms" i.E. True costs, are hidden in the Terms of Use on the website (a lengthly legalese document that consumers don't expect to find hidden costs in) and in small print on the cover flap that no one even reads! I've bought many software titles online and no one else has EVER hidden their charges in the terms or even on the cover flap - they are always clearly stated BEFORE purchase! Being unaware that I had a time limit, I didn't even open it for a week after I received it. I thought I was only paying shipping - a few dollars - a couple weeks later found that $49.90 had been charged to my credit card. The real cost is NOT be stated up front in the text of the offer! These are of such poor quality that I can't even use them. And they are certainly not worth $50! For a few more dollars I could have purchased quality publishing software from Sam's. The Math & Science software is primitive and outdated by at least 10 years, and the Photo & Image Studio is of the same basic type as that included with even a $20 digital camera.
