I ordered a few items on their website, and went through the all the payment procedures. It ended up $0 in total. The order went through, and gave me a confirmation number. The very next day I received an email from their manager saying that there was a system glitch, and they do not approve the order I made.
Was it a system glitch, or was it false advertising?
In their Policies, it states that, "Cal-Sportbike shall not be liable for any omissions, claims, or errors for information provided in our 'Sizing Charts', 'Info Library', or any other area of this website with regard to product pricing, specifications, or availability."
Does that mean they can change their pricing to get customers to order then cancel it whenever they want to?
Here's the email the owner send me next day. "I am very comfortable with California case law supporting that there is a wide delta between false advertising and a computer glitch that we correct within a couple hours when we additionally have a disclaimer clearly posted on our site. So if you let me know which product (s) you actually wished to order, I am very happy to give you even a larger discount off our regular prices as
an apology for any inconvenience on your part..."
