I watch my bank account pretty closely so when I noticed three consecutive charges of $14.95 from "Shopping Essentials" I knew something was wrong. I have no idea how this company got my debit card information, and that concerns me as much as these mysterious charges.
I've called my bank and ordered a new card and I'm disputing the charges. Luckily I caught it quickly, but it's still $45 that went to something I'll never see. If I'm going to throw my money out the window, I'd rather be for real "shopping essentials" and not to support the tactics of a dishonest company like this.
It baffles me how they are still operational considering all of the complaints.
