ClickBank - People-search - People Search
ClickBank Rip-off People-search People Search ripoff a site called people-search. Deceived didn't send email of purchase deceptive advertising and promises Click Bank Nationwide United States

I was looking for information on divorce and marriage records but for the state of New York I came up with either having to go citi hall for the information or access to free records of the 1800's on line which wouldn't help me because the records I was seeking were 21st century records.

When you come to these sites that offer the information within minutes you think that you have found a way to get much more than what's already easily accesible for free. I came to a site called people-search.com where they are described as "the largest database on the internet". They use words such as full unlimited people searches and "instant access" for a fraction of what you would pay a private investigator. On that same page they give you blanks where you would fill in whomever it is that you want to look up. When you do fill them in you come to a page telling you the price or the "unlimited access". After you pay you get a screen that gives you a click bank order number a web address for support and they state that if after 2 days you have not resolved any problem you have to contact www.clickbank.com. This is the first time that click bank comes up.

You are told that you will receive an email, which I never got upon completion of payment. Which means that had I not jotted down the information I would not have had anyway of knowing where to go to complain because on their own website (people-search) there is nowhere to go to ask questions.

While trying to use the service I spent a lot of wasted time going back and forth wondering why was I continuously redirected to other websites that were asking for more money. I thought I was clicking the wrong place and kept going back to comb through all the reading and options available. At one time I was brought back to the page which my state has for free where I had found out that I needed to go to citi hall (thanks, I already knew that). Exhausted I just gave up and picked up where I left off from the next day.

I soon realized that my tiredness the previous day wasn't to blame for the frustration of getting nowhere on the people-search.com web site. Still today there is no email from anyone regarding the purchase but a call to the credit card did confirm that they did charge me $39.95. I am to call back to cancel the payment and put in an investigation they said.

Had I not written down all the information regarding their tech problem avenues I would have no where to contact to them. I went to the click bank web site and filed for a refund.

I read on usacomplaints.com so far of only one person having gotten their refund. I'm expecting to get mine too and if I don't, I too will do what it takes for me to it.

This is deceptive advertising and promises. When I was told that I would get my information for a fraction I thought I was paid in full at the time I paid my $39.95. I was not told up front at any time that there would be more charges after that; each and everytime I clicked on something I wanted to look for on their website I got sent to a different company's wesite where again I was asked for money in exchange for it. Of course I didn't pay more. Within the first few minutes, from the time you get that page with the different two web addresses for tech support to the first redirect while trying to do your first search, you get the feeling you've been scammed. When you go to clickbank they ask that you contact the company who you bought the product from. It would help if there was actually a way to do it. What a rip-off!!!
