The company advertized free information on setting up web based business. I only had to pay $1.95 for postage. About 2 days after I received the "free" information, I received a message on my home phone to call Todd regarding the material I received.
I called the number he provided and he ask me to sign up to recieve help from the company's consultants for only $29.95. I told him I wasn't interested in paying for consulatations because I had a friend that was operating a fairly successful (part-time) business and could get help from her for free. He wanted me to call him back but I didn't bother because I wasn't interested in paying for their service.
When I received my credit card statement, there was a $29.95 charge for online consultation. I then called the number again 1-800-284-6204. Someone named Tiana answered the phone. I told her why I called and she started giving me some garbage about it starts charging automatically unless you call and cancel.
Tiana was extremely rude and when I told her to give me the other number she called it out as fast as she could. I then said "you deliberately called it out too fast for me to write down", her response was " you said to give it to you right then".
Needless to say, I asked for her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I then told her I would call back & talk to somebody in a higher position than her, even if it had to be the president of the company.
The number 1-800-831-3952 that Tiana gave me isn't even in service per T Cast Communications. I called directory assistance, got the number for T Cast, called and spoke with a (very kind) receptionist/switchboard operator. I told her the number I was trying to reach & why. She then verified the number as one of their issues, but explained it is so new it isn't in service yet.
