My wife and I couldn't figure out why our phone bill was $15 higher than normal for the last six months. Here we were thinking it was a long distance charge since it was listed as one, at least until we looked a little closer. Apparently, we'd been signed up without our permission at 14.95 per month.
When I called to cancel, they were either unable or unwilling to inform me of how I was signed up other than "you must have filled out a survey" The exact details as to how my information was obtained, as well as the confirmation email were both conveniently nowhere to be found.
