The company Profiteks, run by a Gabriel Osorio, has ripped me off. Profiteks.com This company/person does advertising for online businesses such as Coastal Vacations, Emerald Passport Liberty League, and others. He supposedly does pay-per-click, but said that he advertises it in places that are more effective than just placing it in keywords such as home-based business opportunities. Regardless, I paid him to get me people to talk to about joining my business. I contacted Gabriel in December, and he told all about what he does, he sounded like he knew what he was doing. He actually lives in the next town from me, so that made me think he should be on the level, since I can just go knock on his door. I was involved in both Emerald Passport and Coastal Vacations and he suggested that I advertise both at the same time. He said he was going to build a website for me to advertise.
So basically he charged me $1200.00 plus he said another $400.00 to advertise both, and then another $200.00 because he said that he now is starting to advertise on MSM, instead of just Google. So a total of $1800.00 I paid him with a credit card. Also I had trouble before this with a company called Hit Doctors (another rip off report about them coming soon) where they ripped me off for $3000.00. (Be careful online with these companies guys).
Anyway Gabriel said that he would get his lawyer to get my money back from them. Well of courses I was really excited about that. Gabriel said that he wanted to meet me, so a couple weeks later we actually met in person at a restaurant. I had absolutely no reason to distrust him. Anyway I gave the contract that I had with Hit Doctors to him, to give to his lawyers. Unfortunately I gave him the only copy I had. More on that later. So anyway it was probably the last week in December and he told me I will be up and running by January 13th. January 13th came and went and nothing. It was difficult trying to get a hold of him but after a week or so I did. He said he was in California on business. He said he would get it going right away. I tried getting a hold of him probably a week later, when I did he said he needed to meet up with me again, to show me I guess the website he built and to go over some things. So eventually we got together this was probably the middle of February at this point. So we got back together, he also brought his "wife" along with him. He showed me the website he built and that was pretty much it. After that I waited a week or two and nothing so far. I left messeges he didnt call back but eventually I got a hold of him. This is probably around the middle of March now. I am not certain of the exact dates. Obviously it was far past the January 13th date he gave me. So I kept calling and he does not respond. Eventually I get a hold of him and he sounds depressed and down. He tells me of a personal situation that happened to him between he and his wife and basically now he has no money. (I wont go into detail on that). I don't know if it was true or not, sounded fishy to me, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, again he assured me he would get it going right away. I gave him a week or two and then contacted him again. He said I'm sorry, that I didn't get it going. I told Gabriel I know what your going through must be hard, but I really need you to get this going. He said ok ok, here is the website address, and he said check it in a few hours it should be up.in a few hours it was up, It was a pretty good looking site, a few mistakes on it, but the issue was where people would put their contact info, it brought them to a page that didn't work.
So basically it was a non-functioning website. This is the same website he showed me a month earlier. I don't know why he didn't put it up back then. So I emailed him and told him it didn't work. Obviously he was not advertising it for me on Google or MSM. I really didn't pay him to just build a website I paid him to get me people to talk to. I paid him to advertise for me, to get lots of interested people in my opportunity. This was the last time I ever spoke with him. This was probably the middle of March. From that point on I sent him numerous emails and left many messages on his voicemail. He never once called me or emailed me. To this day I have not heard from him. I called him probably 10-15 times a day 3-4 days a week. Recently I called and someone actually answered, I wasn't sure if it was Gabriel or not, I asked for Gabriel and the person asked who is calling and I told them my name and they hung-up on me. One time I called at night and his father answered. He said he wasn't there. The physical address of Profiteks is an apartment building. I went there because I live about 15 minutes from it.
Definatly not an apartment complex of someone who says on different blogs and prweb that they make six-figures a month. It looked to me to be no more than an 800 dollar a month apartment. I just called his number today and the profiteks message isn't on there now, its the voice of some guy that doesn't sound like Gabriel. Also his fax number goes to the same message. His cell phone was disconnected and I am concerned that he took off. He also works out of New Jersey. Gabriel Osorio is also a rep with Liberty League.in which I plan to fax copies of this report to and to many other companies who I feel would be interested to know about my experience. Also I am reporting him to the BBB and other agencies. Gabriel has his own posts here at rip off report defending liberty league, funny enough. He uses the name Bronxrep22, email address He has made absolutely no attempt what so ever to contact me. Even if he had gone through some tough times, I always was patient and friendly with him, he could have called and left a message saying that he would eventually make it right. Obviously he has no intention on doing that, he ripped me off for $1800.00 dollars, and he treated me to dinner twice with my own money.
If you read posts by him on this sight, he talks a good game, but this guy scammed me big time. On top of that he has the only contract that I have with the other company that I need to get my money back from, so basically he has severely hampered my chances at that. I never saw any sign that he had a lawyer to anything for me, complete lie. The apartment where he lives didn't even have his name under his room number. It was the last name of his "wife" or girlfriend or whatever, which is also fishy. I feel he stalled me for 60 days so I could not dispute the charges on my credit card. No matter what he says and how well he says it, this guy strung me along, and stole money PERIOD! I hope my experience with profiteks and Gabriel Osorio will be a benefit to anyone who reads this. I will post any updates as they occur.
