I signed up for a web-based shopping mall and was contacted two months later about getting advertising going and web traffic directed to my website. I spent $800 and was promised they would get back with me to finish things up.
So a few days went by they insisted i did not speak with them and it was not them that took my $800. However i had programmed the # in my phone that day and was positive it was them that called (how else was i calling them back) I spoke with a woman named Kim and the only help she offered is to tell me that it was ignorant to spend $800 with some other company.
I informed her that the call WAS made from that number and if that was the case then they either have a security issue of internal theft or are sharing my personal information without consent as the person who contacted me had my acount number already. When i mentioned BBB and filing criminal charges they quickly refunded my original start up fee of $29.95. As for my $800 i had to cancel my card and my bank took care of that one.
I would highly suggest not doing business with this company as communication with anyone there is limited, they don't acknowledge a valid complaint, nor investigate it properly, also when my site was up and running the server was broken 50% of the time people couldn't shop if they wanted too!!!
