Yahoo! Music Unlimited fraudulently took my from my account. I signed for a 7 day free trial. Yahoo! Never asked me for my credit card number or anything.
They already had my credit card number because almost 2 months ago I bought 3 songs from them. So I guess since they had my credit card number they felt that thay could do anything that they wanted to do with.
So I called them on 4 different occassions. Twice I was put on hold for a long period of time after asking to speak with their supervisor and the telephone suddenly hung up on me. The third time the guy tried to help me get my money back (at least that's what he said) but the computer wouldn't allow him to.
So I called once again and told the guy what happened but he basically called me a liar and tried to make it seem like I was stupid by saying "If you didn't put your credit card information in how did we take money from your account?"
The supervisor never contacted me but when I spoke to this guy he said that his supervisor reviewed my case and that they were not going to be able to give me my money back. I asked for his supervisors name and he told me that he couldn't give me that information (I wonder why).
I told him to tell his supervisor that I will be calling the Better Business Bureau and let them know that they had taken money from my account without my consent and that I was going to tell them about a website that more people were complaing about them ripping them off.
Yahoo! Took it upon themselves to take money out of my account that I didn't give consent to all because they already had my credit card information. So just a word of advice if Yahoo! Or any other company is ripping people off please report it to the Better Business Bureau they will investigate and you may even be able to get your money back.
I'm still waiting to here back from the BBB because I just put my complaint in.
