Once again, Tigerdirect.com & I imagine it's subsidirary, OnRebate.com have conspired to defraud as many people as it can concerning the withholding of just rebates as advertised.
I should have learned the first time when I bought a Fuji camera from Tigerdirect. It was a battle for almost two months to get that rebate. Claiming I did not send the "proper documentation" my rebate on the camera was withheld for more than six weeks. I had copies of everything that was required for the camera as I do have now for a flat screen monitor.
Should you attempt to contact either entity by phone, they have conviently conspired to have automated answering services "due to the high volume of calls". You are not permitted to ask questions of anyone. This is a sham of a battle of attrition of which I refuse to become a casualty.
This is larceny pure and simple.By exacting these tactics, and I mean the same tactics, consumers are left to the discretionary fraudulent claims of "lack of proper documentation". How convenient and how does one verify their claim?
I would hope that these people, even though goods were delivered at a pre-rebate price, would be held accountable for these delaying tactics and their attempts to have the frustrated consumer submit to these "rip-off artists" and relenquish the consumer's rebate. If you can't speak to anyone and cannot confirm "anything" based on "their" timeline, just how are you exact justice in these matters except to expose them for what they are.
Let's go to trial!!
