Tigerdirect - Onrebate
Rebate Ripoff scam

I purchased a Creative Labs MuVo Squared FM 5GB Black in December Rebate Offer: CL-1728
Tracking Number: YUMKCQG4HVRTMCTH, it had two rebates a $50.00 from Creative and a $40.00 from Onrebate.

I was concerned because They both required original documentation. I contacted Tigerdirect by email and was told that Onrebate does not require original documentation when there are more than one rebate involved.

Then I get an update saying that the rebate was denied becuse of lack of documentation. Onrebate would not even respond to my emails to find out why. All that I got was n email saying I would hear from them in 72 hours. I know I sent the proper documentation becuase I got my rebate from Creative Labs.

I also purchased an Intel Celeron 340 2.93Ghz 256K Cache, 533FSB Rebate Offer: IN-1952
Tracking Number: FKNLNGGSJWL3NV8A with a $50.00 rebate.

That they said I did not sign the rebate form after a couple of emails asking if I could send another form signed I was just informed today that they do not accept resubmissions.

I used to be a loyal customer but these are some shady business practices and I plan on pursuing this further. My advice is to stay away from TigerDirect and Onrebate.
