I signed-up for pay per click to advertise my business. During my 2-3 hour conversation with "Carla" when I was setting up my account, the fact that a 12 month contract is required was NEVER revealed to me. As far as I'm concerned this is the same as telling a lie. A better word for this is FRAUD. As required by law, terms and conditions of this "contract" are nowhere to be found anywhere on their website nor does anyone at Superpages.com know where to find it! They now have my credit card number for charges - I'm screwed! The website tells customers everything about pay per click except this very important detail. I think customer service personel are told only to reveal this if asked. The manager "Gary" told me that by giving out my credit card number, I agree to the terms and conditions of the program. Except for the guys that do telephone repair for Verizon, I have yet to find an honest person in their entire organization. "WE NEVER START WORKING FOR YOU" needs to be their new slogan. James Earl Jones should be ashamed to be a spokesperson for such a crooked organization. Pay per click is the wave of the future for internet ads - this scam needs to be stopped by the FCC!
