Ripoff dishonest jerk doesnt fulfill obligations or send product but cashes checks

I had looked over various sites searching for movie posters. I am having an Oscar Party and was looking for the best deal on the latest films movie posters, when I found Posterworld. It claimed to have authentic posters and seemed very reasonably priced I purchased 4 posters and 1 program and mailed off the check to the specified individual this was January 13th.

The check did not show as cashed until January 30th. I Had written two emails making sure it was recieved before my bank showed it as cleared. I allowed to weeks to pass and then called the provide number, the msg stated how he was sick of looking up numbers and not to list them just what your movie poster actually was and he will look it up that way so I left a msg.

After another week I still had not recieved any type of reply to either emails or phone calls.

So I called again and this time spoke with Mr. Egbert he seemed very disorganized and requested that I call back in several minutes and that he would have found my order. So after waiting 10 mins I called again, he appeared confused and was audibly looking through papers he found something and began yelling that I was missing information and began to yell how I did get that this was all my fault because I was lazy and why did this happen. I said I had tryed to contact regarding check throw various emails and phone calls - his reply " Do you know how many emails I get?"

I had enclosed with my check a list of the posters and there numbers - however he said it was not with check, at this I anwsered that it didnt stop him from cashing my check if he didnt know what it was for, his reply was "why should it"

I asked when he was going to send me my merchandise and he said he had no idea what I wanted and asked me to repeat my order once again. At this point he said to call the following day and get the tracking number as thats when the product would be going out.

I had a large workload the following day and was not able to follow-up for the tracking number, as he had requested I only call at a specific time. I once again believed he would actually do as he had a promised, almost a week later (when I expected my product would be there) I recieved an email dated Feb 23 that my payment had been recieved and that my product would be shipped shortly.

Furious I asked my husband to call this time, he did and Mr. Egbert did not anwser his voicemail msg had changed to list how many hours a week he worked and how little time he had to deal with people. My husband left a msg stating that if we did not recieve the products before March 5th (Date of the Oscar and there intended use) we would like a refund.

As of today March 3rd we have not heard from Mr. Egbert nor recieved any products - 7 wks after the check had been sent. We are telling everyone we know to not buy from this website - he is a ripoff.

I have never been insulted or angered when making a purchase. I enjoy buying things online and have never had a problem before.

Mr. Egbert has no idea what it takes to run a bussiness or what customer service is. With prices and availablity I would've bought from the site every year for my parties spending bet 50-70 and now that is lost to him because he is a RIPOFF!
