Horrible return policy, after selling BROKEN laptop to me! Ripoff

Around Christmastime, me and my husband purchased a Compaq laptop with a Sempron AMD. We had the computer for just one month, before one day the entire thing wouldnt even turn on. It turns out they sold us a defective computer with a broken hardrive. Not only did they refuse to let us exchange it, they wouldnt even let us return it, and buy a more EXPENSIVE computer in its place. It was their fault that they sold us a faulty computer, and didnt give 2 sh*s when it was their own fault to help us.

After they made us take it to CompUSA's tech support, they sent it out to Hewlett Packard to replace the hardrive. When HP send the computer back to COMPUSA, the computer was STILL broken! They sent it back without even replacing any parts or even attempting to make it work. CompuUSA had to send it back, and now I sit and wait another month to see if we will ever get the computer back.

The curstomer service is terrible, and no one cares if they sell you back merchandise. This also happened to me 4 years ago with CompUSA. They sold me a faulty broken HP desktop and also refused to repair or exchange it.
Beware, never shop COMPUSA!
