Alright, ebgames.com, christmas, pop-up/affiliate, thats how the situation starts. I buy a nice barbie game for my sister and am clicking through after entering my cc info and such and a pop up comes up saying free stuff, never mention a charge, never ask for CC info, i never enter CC info and to my suprise my gf's debit card gets overdrawn with $9.00 all of the sudden on this lovely february 26th.
Had it not been an overdraft we most likely wouldn't have noticed it but thank god it was and the $32.00 overdraft charge just set us both in a bit of a fit of rage... A bit. Putting it very lightly. I'll be damned if i dont get my money back, especially thanks to google this is the first thing that popped up when i searched the business name.
Just in short be very careful when you are buying something online, your computer does keep a cache of your information and what you filled out i say we start a class action lawsuit against their arses... How about you? [email protected]
