I received email from eBay after offering a "Buy it now" price to a seller. EBay says the email was a spoof and any loss due to it is the responsiblity of the buyer. The problem is that people are inside their software and can generate emails that show up in a mailbox as being sent by eBay. As a result, first time buyers can be ripped off rather easily. If you have been ripped off by someone who generated mail from eBay to you, please contact me. I am trying to put together a class action lawsuit. Thank you.
