I was looking to purchase a car. My internet searches lead me to Ebay. Never having used Ebay before I tried to follow the direction to a "t". After registering my info with Ebay, email address and all other personal info, including my credit card # so that I could bid over $10,000.00.
I started the bidding process. I did not win any bids but I did start to recieve second chance offers. With very explicit directions from Ebay on how to proceed. After excepting the offer and sending my $4500.00, It turned out to be someone who snatched my information from Ebay.
Ebay says I am not covered by their insurance since the transaction took place outside of Ebay.
RIP OFF=Know one should be able to access my information from Ebay. If I did not register with them, I would not have been ripped off. Anyone interested in class action suit or anyone who could help me, please contact me.
