Ripoff Just bad business

On Feb. 8th I ordered 7 items from this company totalling $277.10. The web site stated that the items would be shiped within 72 hours. The web site also stated that I might receive multiple deliveries as some items are droped shipped. My credit card was charged on 2/13. On Feb. 21 almost 2 weeks after ordering the items, I sent an email wondering where the items were.

On Feb 22 I received an email stating that they were waiting for 1 last item that was still out of stock but might arrive in a day or two. I then sent an email stating that I was unhappy with their response.

I wondered why the items in-stock had not been sent and why was I not notified of the delay so that I might make a decision on cancelling the item not in stock. Why was my credit card charged a week before even though the items were never sent.

If I had not emailed them, whould I ever hear from them? I also explained that it was poor business ethics to conduct business this way. I guess this upset him.

I then sent back an email stating that I wanted the items in stock to be sent and to cancel the item they did not have.

I then received an email cancelling the entire order. I then promptly contacted my credit card company to file a billing dispute. They charged for the items and never sent sent them.

Mr. Quail did respond to say that he had issued a credit but with his record, I am somewhat suspect. I then wrote back that when I see the credit, I would contact the bank and tell them the problem was resolved.

He again wrote me theartening me with collection action if there was a credit and a chargeback, thus making money on the deal. I then explained to Mr. Quail that I did not want his money, just the items that were promised that apparently he could not deliver. He then wrote me back stating that he would cancel the credit and just let the chargeback occur.

I just received my last email from him stating that they do $50 mil of business on the internet... With 8 complaints filed with the Atlanta Better Business Bureau, this is one company I would stay away from.
