Ripoff hustle cheat scam dishonest fraudulent sales and distribution Nationwide

I came across a website where you can purchase a CD-ROM for $29.99 with an additional $5.01 shipping charge and they will eventually send you a free gift from their vast selection of "free" electronics. They put you on a list that you choose for a free gift of your choice and claim they will send you the gift after purchasing the CD.

I decided to join a couple lists, namely: the Motorola V3 RAZR, the Motorola HS820 (Bluetooth Headset), Four times (4x) on the Motorola V8 SLVR, and the PSP list as well.

My bill for all these totalled $280.00 when you include the $5.00 "Quick-up Pass" which allowed consumers to "jump" to the top of the list enabling one to allegedly receive their free gift much sooner.

However, no sooner had I become familiar with the site before it completely shut down. I felt that maybe given enough time the site would be up and running again after some slight construction but even after months of waiting (more than 3 months) there had been no change.

There are numerous users who have fallen prey to this scam and I'm sure they all are either looking for a refund of their money or reimbursement of their free gift (s).

Not much is left of this company. The only information I was able to find was a cached webpage of the site on Google.com. Just enter "freegiftmobile" into a search engine and there should be an entry to the main page freegiftmobile.com/. Under or to the side of this entry, you should be able to choose the "Cached" version of the site and it will allow you to view certain portions of the site that many were scammed on. Perhaps, through an IP Address, more information linking to the owners of the site may be sought out.

I'm sure with more searching and more technical assistance, something more concrete maybe found to lead to the company receiving its just due and returning to the scammed consumers what is rightfully theirs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
