I have been paying $42.95 per month (with a $4.95 SM Savings) for FastAccess (R) Ultra Service for DSL internet access for months now to BellSouth. I found out via a TV commercial and the through the BellSouth web site, that this service has been offered for $32.95 for months now. I called (888-321-2375) the BellSouth internet charges customer service line and spoke to a representative that adjusted my bill as of today's date (12/29) and said that it will be reflected on my next bill.
The problem is that for months I have been paying a higher rate for this service and the rate would not have been adjusted if I had not called in. I am not getting compensated for all the months that I paid the higher rate, and I wonder how many other BellSouth customers are being 'ripped off' by this same scam.
