My husband and I atteneded a seminar for Roma Computer Solutions on 9-14-99 at a local hotel in Anaheim, CA. It was a seminar that talked about getting grants and starting a e-commerce business that included a Roma 3K Desktop Computer System for a scheduled 39 monthly payments of $129.95. We didn't learn till later when our checking account was being deducted more, plus taxes, and a seperate $5 fee for insurance. We quickly stopped the $5 monthly fee, but to this day, I am still being deducted the monthly lease amount for this system. I have read that they were arrested at the end of January but what do I do now? How can I stop from being charged for this lease agreement of the computer system since Roma Computer Solutions no longer exists? I don't know who to contact or what to do next. Since I don't know who they sold my lease to. I think it may be a company called CIT, but I am not sure. If anyone can share some updated information about this scam and what we can do next, will be greatly appreciated!!! TanyaSan Dimas, California
