I attended a seminar sponsered by Roma Computer Solutions back in July 1999. I didn't know anything about computers or websites back then so I got really sucked in. For a fee they told us that they would setup a website and they offered to lease either a desktop or laptop computer for 39 months. After the 39 months were up they told us that we would own the computer.
I repeatedly asked that question and also to a rep that contacted me and each time they told me that I will own it after 39 months. Well I never received any websites and I thought after 39 months I fulfilled my obligation but they're still charging me $165.15.
Both Roma Computers and Global Finance phone numbers don't work, Roma's e-mail is nonexistent and so is their website. I now realize that they are a bunch of scam artists who prey on people who are totally ignorant about computers.
I thought about closing my account so they won't take any more money. Any suggestions of this matter will greatly be appreciated. My e-mail address is [email protected]
Thank you,
