I tried the 3-day membership for shopandgetpaid.com and went to cancel today. The customer service phone number is out of service and I'm assuming no one will respond to emails. When I called my credit card company, they gave me a different phone number to try (the one that appeared on the statement) and when I called, the person on the other end couldn't find any of my information. She put me on hold, and finally disconnected.
I ended up changing my credit card number after I read the other report on usacomplaints.com that said they charge you for other stuff later on.
FYI, the credit card customer service rep told me that you can't fight a charge like this because it's considered authorized since the owner initially submitted the number.
Don't fall victim to this scam!
Call your credit card company for help!
