This "company", I found out is just run out of this guy's living room. I purchased the item. Decided it wasn't worth it, and returned it within a week. I got an RMA number. I sent it back and waited. And waited. And waited.
Calling the customer service number, you get something that sounds like a legit company's automated system, but you get it EVERY time you call. Doesn't matter which option you press, either, it all goes to the same line (which has a personal answering machine).
I returned the item and had to make numerous calls to the "company". I left messages on their answering machine, nobody would call me back. I got through to someone once, and she gave me the owner's name (Dave Walsh) and cell phone number. I called and spoke with him, he said it'd be taken care of immediately.
I waited almost 2 weeks and still hadn't gotten it credited on my account. I called back, same problem with nobody calling me back. I called his cell phone again and left a message. He called & left me a message back saying he was sorry and it'd be credited within a week. Same thing again. No credit.
I called his phone, he wouldn't answer. I finally did a reverse search for another phone number by the "company's" address on the website and it turns out it's this guy's home address. Also listed was a couple other home numbers, so I tried those. Nobody answered. I decided to use a calling card, since then a different number shows up on the person's caller ID. Lo and behold he answered his cell. I was livid, I told him that I was tired of the run around. He tried telling me he'd just walked in the door from vacation. I told him I'd wait on the phone while he took care of the transaction. He went ahead and did it and gave me the transaction ID.
A couple days later, I see that he refunded all but $9.95. I called back and left a message saying the guarantee is for 100% of the price (which is $99.95, I wasn't charged shipping), and that i'd be expecting the other $9.95 refunded. I said he could either call me, or just do it and I'd be expecting to see the refund within a few days. Of course nobody called me and I never received the refund. I gave up and cut my losses.
