I recieved a flyer in the mail stating that I was approved for two credit cards one a 2,000 store valued card, and the other one a 2,000 mastercard to use wherever mastercards were excepted. I called it at least 4 times to make sure what I was hearing was correct and they assured me it was. It only cost 199.99 to get them and I figured it was a small price to pay for a limit like that.
I don't have very much credit so I figured this was the way to get it. The money was taken out of my account on September 2. After about 2 and a half weeks I hadn't recieved anything so I called the customer service number, they told me they no longer did customer service for that company. They gave me a new number that didn't work, so I waited a few days and tried again, this time someone answered and said they didnt handle these problems, and gave me a cell phone number.
I called the cell phone and left a message, but it wasn't until I threatened to report the company that he called me back. The gentlemen on the phone told me that he did recieve my 200.00 but they didn't have my shipping address because of the previous customer service. I gave it to him and he called me back the next day to verify it, he said I would recieve the package in about 5 days. I waited until the beginning of October and tried calling back, all of the customer service numbers were disconnected, including the one that said they didn't work with UCG anymore.
I kept trying to call the cell phone number I had and never recieved a call back. Recently I called the number again and it too was disconnected. Though it's back on now, and I'm continuing to leave messages and not recieving calls back, I'll keep trying to get my money back and make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else.
