They find ways to discredit you, you will never be able to earn the ipod

After much ballyhoo from a friend who got his free ipod 6 months ago, I went ahead and signed up with realrhapsody.com (which I liked and kept) since I figured I could find 5 other people easily who would like the blockbuster.com service. Since these people were gonna do it anyways, I figured why not get a free Ipod out of it (everyone has kept the service).

To make a long story short, I forgot all about it for a while but when they added the 20gb color Ipod as an option, I started to grab my last 2 referrals last month. I noticed that they didn't give me credit for my little brother, but I figured he must have filled out something wrong so I went ahead and added my brother in law. Everyone did their offer and got credit for it. I go in last week and see I got all 5 referrals so I submit my request for my ipod. Lo and behold it gets rejected. Why? Who knows. All I get is some gobblygook that my brother in law somehow violated their terms and conditions. Which is ludicrous. We live in totally different cities.

Their advice, "get another referral". Now I see where it's going, they rejected my brother, my brother in law, where's it going to end? Every question to the customer service rep is met with a response copied and pasted from their terms saying that we vaguely screwed up somehow but they won't tell us how. Just to get another referral and things will be alright.

There nothing you can do. They refuse to tell you exactly why you are being denied. All my referrals are from different addresses and nobody cancelled their offer just to help me earn a free ipod.

In all, I now know for sure that the wheels have come off the wagon, the pyramid is crumbling, that they couldn't keep up with the demand of shipping out all these Ipods.

I researched this a lot before I jumped in, it's only lately that people are starting to get this runaround, so I believe that the system has caught up to them and it's about to collapse. So consider yourselves warned.

I plan on contacting all their vendors and letting them know that their reputations are being affected by being affiliated with this company.
