I own a computer services company in Little Rock. Just over a month ago, my partner signed us up as sub-contractors to FindaComputerGuy.com. What that means is, when a business or residential customer contacts them and asks for service in Little Rock, we would provide the service (s) needed as representatives of FindaComputerGuy.com. The customer is billed after work is completed, and then our payment is made from those funds.
In the very first of April, we were contacted about doing our first job for them. The appointment with the customer was on Apr 06. At 2:00PM, the job was completed, and later that same day, the required paperwork was transmitted to FindaComputerGuy.com for billing and payment.
A few days later, in a phone conversation, we were told that the client had made payment and our check was being mailed that very day (our payment for the services we provided). Now it is more than a month later, and we still have not been paid.
In approximately half a dozen phone calls to the company, and 4 emails with the principal of Fraction IT (the LLC behind FindaComputerGuy.com), Linn Boyd, we still have not been paid. Every employee we have talked to has been clueless about our payment, and no one has yet produced a reason why we haven't been paid. It seems that the purpose of any contact with the company is designed to put you off further and further and delay payment as long as possible.
I would rather not have to place this report here, but I think it is important that any companies or independant computer techs should know about our experience with FindaComputerGuy.com, and be that they may not be paid for services they provide, either. Also, after all that I would be very hesitant to contact them for service on my computer, if it was needed.
