Prosper Learning
Ripoff misleading and high pressure sales

I have an interest in internet marketing so through my searches I received an offer from Jay Abraham. His marketing strategy is to "Help 5,000 people reach financial independeance."

His internet business mentoring prgram is marketed through Prosper Learning Inc.

I was contacted by phone and an "interview" set up to see if I qualify to be accepted by Jay Abraham. I passed the "interview" A part of the interview was to determine what level of up front financial committment I could make asap: High - $20,000, Medium - $15,000 or a conservative $6,000-$10,000.

I stated I had a conservative interest.
Next I got a call from a director who spent 30 minutes explaining the course and came back with an investment cost of $8,900.

By the way, at each step of the way they kept asking "if this looks good to you are you ready TODAY to make a financial committment?"

At the end of his sales pitch, I told the director I wanted to think about it before I invested $8,900 after a 30 minute conversation with a stranger and unknown company. He said well you WASTED my time and yours. He said "you obviously don't know who Jay Abraham is and you don't trust us" I said I did not expect to be trained by Jay Abraham but instead I expected to work with a Prosper Learning Inc trainer, he waivered but finally agreed that was a true statement.

Bottom line: they want you to buy their program on the spot.

My concern is they offer 10 coaching calls of 30-45 minutes each. That's not much time.
Second, they will help you build a website in 4-6 weeks. That's a long time.

Their warranty is: if you don't double your investment in 12 months, they will continue to work with you for free... Problem is what if their assistance is poor... You get unlimited poor assistance?
Be prepared to go through a very hard close, exactly like the proverbial car buying close where the deal is today or nothing. If you tend to cave in and buy on the spot when someone does a hrad sell on you... Brace yourself and have your credit card ready.
