Consumer Opinion Group.com they somehow put themselves found their way onto a legit site that I was using to offer bogus "Gifts" Mountain View California

Briefly I wanted to add to the gentleman from Houston's info regarding IOG. Whist I did not follow up on their offer of a free IPod, I did take the time to read their privacy policy, terms and conditions and help section.

It is pretty obvious that they are not legit, no offense Houston, from just reading their privacy policy.

What I really want to know is how they insinuated their bogus offer onto my page of a legit website? Ironically I was accessing Apple Technical Support (which does require membership to access).

So, if anyone out their can tell me how they managed to do this I would be grateful. I know that it is a pain, but, you do really have to read everything before giving anybody your inormation.

That is why these people make their fine print information so long and tedious to wade through. They hope that you will get fed up of reading leagle ease and just go for the IPod (or whatever).

I usually do not have a problem with these kinds of pop ups appearing. Are Macs becoming a more interesting target for these people now I wonder?

Beware of IOG! Trust me, they are not legitimate.
