On December 7 I ordered a gift subscription for YM magazine on-line at allmagazines4sale.com. My credit card was charged on December 9th. The magazine has not been received as of March 29, although an acknowledgement of the subscription was received in January.
I called customer service at allmagazines4sale and was told there was no record of my order, in spite of the charge with their name on my credit card statement. I was told to call the phone number listed with the charge on my statement.
After calling that number several times and leaving messages as directed by a recording which said my call would be returned in two hours, I gave up! No one has ever called me.
As a last resort, I contacted the fraud department of my credit card company. A spokesman for the credit card company told me that a credit for the charge would be issued to my account.
