I have tried multiple times to cancel my so-called "membership" for Homeworks Plus. I've called the phone number that is listed on my internet banking site and they've been no help at all.
I've been given the run-around and transfered to various people, but they all seem to have trouble finding my file... Funny but they don't have any trouble finding my bank account!
This last call, they told me to fax my information showing the charge to my bank account. They couldn't find my file (again) and needed my card number to check it. Oh sure, I was born yesterday and I would love to give you my card number!
I'll fax them my info. But I'm marking out any bank account info. That may be on there. I know it won't do, but that's just one more strike against them for the records.
I'm getting charged $19.95 a month for something that I have never used or signed up for. I can't even get any information from their website because I don't have a member ID #.
I don't know how they got my information. I was probably one of those free membership offers. I've succesfully canceled others before, but why not this one, I don't know!
