I recieved my Chase Visa credit card bill - with an amount of $79.95 billed to me by some outfit called CIC Credit Monitoring.
I never authorized any charges from this company, and never received any services from CIC Credit Monitoring. I don't even know what it is!
The worst part is that my CREDIT CARD company would not help me in any way! They told ME to call some phone numbers - they said they had called, and the charges were "authorized" — DUH!!! What else WOULD they say - "We are committing fraud"??? I don't THINK so!
I have NEVER been so frustrated, mad, and disgusted over a bill that I do NOT owe. I have cancelled my Visa Credit Card. However, I STILL received a statemnet from Visa this month, with a FINANCE charge on the amount in discrepancy. My credit rating is "gold-plated" - and I do not want some scam to ruin it.
Has anyone else had this kind of experience with this company ripping them off? If so, PLEASE let me know.
Also, if so, did YOUR credit card company help you?
I do know one thing for sure - don't bring Visa into my business, because I accept only AMERICAN EXPRESS!!!
