In August I answered an email ad for building a web business. One of the services sold was extensive coaching to learn how to build a website with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week from me. I was also guaranteed 250,000 hits via software that would be included. Adam Kiser explained exactly how it was done using Referralware as the wholesale provider of products.
I checked online Better Business Bureau which had nothing to report. (Today it does.)
I paid $6100 which Greg Warden tried to get a deal from our credit union using MC by getting a cash advance with no interest. They didn't have any promotions, so I paid through a cash advance.
I was given a code to log into lessons that Maikel Bailey of WebCoachPro would coach me on weekly. Once I saw the lessons and realized that there was no way to do this in 5-10 hours per week, I asked for a refund which was refused because they had supposedly started my website with the high powered software. I was able to get a $610 refund for the interest on the credit card loan and finally an email from Greg Warden agreeing that I could start in January.
When I called in January the 800# had a strange operator recording, and I get no return on or answer to my emails to Greg Warden or Maikel Bailey.
I have been ripped off and will contact the Utah and Washington State Attorney Generals. Any information on current business name or phone numbers would be appreciated.
