Online on 1/18/05 ordered oem part#ltn141xc-l01 lcd panel for compaq laptop with two day delivery. Shipped wrong product on day I was suppose to receive it. Actually received product four days after ordered. Part received was ltn141x7-lo1 for sony laptop, I informed shipper and they sent me rma request on 1/28/05 filled out they replied on 1/31/05.
Sent email stating replacement would be sent with prepaid return label for incorrect part, on 2/1/05 I was charged the full price again for the replacement. I called customer service and informed them I would not approve of any more charges. They said would not send replacement unless I paid for it in full, I declined at that time we dissagreed and he customer supervisor (Fabian R) said I would have to send back wrong part and he would not send replacement.
I would prefer correct part but if he still refuses to send it I should receive full refund without any restocking fees. Impact failed to verify product in box was part I ordered also to meet delivery I requested paid extra for and to rectify situation. Now I must pay to send back part and hope they send new correct part or receive full refund. Spoke to customer service supervisor fabian R and rep william.
