My wife and I share an Email @ address with different names at the front; she has had a Facebook account for a few years' unfortunately she recently had her site hijacked and her site sent numerous requests for them to be her friend, this was subsequently resolved.
Due to retirement and now have time I decided to join Facebook;
My application was rejected, it stated:
"The account that owns the email address you entered has been disabled."
When I try to login I get:
"Incorrect Email
The email you entered does not belong to any account.
You can login using any email, username or mobile phone number associated with your account. Make sure that it is typed correctly."
Surly these two statement are at odds and conflicting yet I cannot get anybody to help me as there is no direct contact with Facebook
I did recently get an email from them:
"Sorry you've been having trouble logging into your Facebook account.

Get back on Facebook now
You can also get password help or login help on Facebook.
Thanks,
The Facebook Team"
But that was also useless!
