Att Uverse - U verse internet

When we upgraded to the Uverse internet I was told I would have the choice between an Xbox 360, a kindle fire, a gps unit etc. It has been 3 months and after several phone calls they now tell me that the promotion is over and I am no longer eligible. Now we are in a 12month contract so I cant cancel without paying a fee. I feel completely lied to and abused.
