December 13th I received a bill from PPC saying I owed them $60! I tried to call their 800 number numerous times and it was always busy! I contacted them through customer service disputing the charges and received an automated response saying I had to pay. Reading their FAQ I found that everything I had questions regarding was right there. Everything they said there is a lie. I never authorized anything nor could I hear the modem dialing like they said! It's all lies! I'm replying to their email and refusing to pay. I've also filed a report with the FBI/FCC about their scam!
Thanks to their software, or Trojan virus, I could not even use my computer or internet without it trying to connect to their service... I would have to rip my internet lines from my computer to keep it from dialing.in the end I reformatted my hard drive to get all their infection off my computer. They've caused me way to much grief! I also have charges on my phone bill that I have to pay.
Does anyone know how to get the phone company to remove those charges?
