I Purchased 500 pieces of What was advertised as high end cosmetics from TDW closeouts it's an on
Line company that sells over stock items, shelf pulls and so on. I specifically asked for new product and I did not want any closeout or liquidation, martine told me and my wife it will cost you $4.95 a piece. I told her I'm interested in 500 pieces she agreed.

Martine informed me in late September that they have received a large shipment of high end cosmetics from Macy's stores. They will be sold on first come first served basis. I called Tdcloseouts and informed them that I was interested in buying 500 pieces. Martine instructed me to bank wire $2570 to (TDW Closeouts) bank account and once they receive the funds in their bank they will ship the merchandise.
I wired the money from my bank on 10/15/04.
2 weeks past and still didn't receive the merchandise! I called Martine up and requested a Shipping tracking number, she told me the shipping person is busy unloading a truck! The following day I called and asked for the tracking number again. I was told the shipping person for some reason put all the tracking receipts in one of the pallets and shipped it, she doesn't have the tracking number, my wife called 2 days later and asked for the tracking number miraculously Martine found the tracking numbers. On 11/08/04 I received the merchandise. To my shock and astonishment the merchandise Were old used tested store returns, some were marked for destruction total garbage. I called Martine up and informed her of the situation. She instructed me to photograph the merchandize and send them the pictures, which I did the same day. I called 2 days later to find out what happened, Martine told me after a long wait on the phone that they will arrange for UPS to come and pick them up from my house. Once they receive them, they will refund my account of $2570.
At that time I was really upset, felt cheated and taken advantage of. The merchandise they sent me were total trash and TDW Closeouts have my money. I started researching them out on the internet. Their name came up in usacomplaints.com site I checked them out there, which I should of done before in the first place but did not. I found out other people were ripped off by (TDWCloseouts) and didn't receive their money back. Now I'm really concerned and angry.
At that time I had no choice but to follow Martine's instruction, my options were limited Matine's shipping dept. Faxed the call tags for the merchandise to me. Every piece of the merchandise was put back in the same boxes and sealed (2 boxes). I took them to the nearest UPS store. They were shipped on 11/15/04.11/23/04 the tracking confirmed delivery to TDWcloseout warehouse and signed by (Rusian).

Today's date is 11/29/04 and still didn't receive my money. Mike is their or at least what Martine told me is the Manager is a shadowy character he is either left the place or is not there to take my call. I could never get a hold of him.
I called on Wednesday Nov. 24/04 and Talked to Martine she told me the refund should be in my account Friday Nov. 26. November 26 came and gone and no refund issued.
I called on Nov. 29 I was told my Martine the refund will be in my account on Nov. 29th
No refund yet Dec. 1/04.
I called again and demanded my refund after they put me 3 times on hold and disconnected me I finally got through and spoke to Mariela Garcia who claims to be the accountant person.
And she informed me that they no longer refund by bank wire they will refund by a cashier's check. And she will send the check today Dec. 1 and to expect delivery by next week. The frustration the waiting goes on.
I researched tdclosouts on the Florida better business bureau and found out that Rafael shabtai is the owner and president. On Dec 2/04 I called and demanded to talk to Raphael!
He answered the phone! I demanded my money back, he told me he will send the money tomorrow Friday 3/04 and if I call again he will send it the following week. Well today is 12/09 Where is my money Raphael hey I will not forget I will pursue you I will utilize what ever means that I have and know of to get my money back.
This message for would be buyers, if a company like tdwcloseouts except only bank wire transfer or checks you know they are not trustworthy. I made a mistake, I'm writing this report hopefully you won't make the same mistake and go through this agoney.
