I have a complaint that has gone on deaf ears. I signed for walmart connect services with a disc from one of their orlando locations.inserted the disc, followed the directions and about 2-3 mths later received a charge on my debt card for the fee of $9.98. No problem there but the following mth there was a charge for $29.95 which showed on my statement.
Called an no one in that company had a decent answer. But after threatend to contact the attorney general's office they reverse the charge. We closed the account with Walmart connect. We chalk it up human error. But as a family that shop there we tried it again.insert disc and started again well, when it came to charges this time there was a $53.24 charged to my debit card. Called the customer service # given 1-800-855-0942 and again no explaintion given. This has left a bitter taste in my mouth the young man that answered said they are based in India and the only explaintion was the fact that there was a 1-800 # being used by my husband's log in being used in the house. Which makes no sense because the disc gives you the #'s to use to set up shop and there is no 800# listed.
They wouldn't reverse the charge. Wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor and tried to give me an extra 3 mths of more lousy service.
The c/s rep. Him self told me yes the charge is only supposed to be for $9.98 and didn't understand why I would receive such a charge but would do anything about it. Again I will file a complaint with the Attorney General office and see how many people are being taken for a ride on the walmart rip off express. Thanks for reading.
Sincerly, Broke in florida husband has been out of wrk for 2 mths with all this hurricans coming through. Thanks walmart for being so family oriented.
