Search help engine prevents accessing non-public domain sites - Windstream internet

Needing to access wy work intranet sites. Windstream's search help engine does not recognize the sites, and redirects you to a Windstream search page. Completely unprofessional response from Windstream, they would not change the setting unless I subscribed to their tech support program. Bye bye Windstream, I have multiple other options for an ISP.
