Verizon Communications, Inc DSL, Slow Speeds, Selling 10Mbps, getting 56k Speeds. Ripoff, Mentally ill workers, damage, phone jacks, crossed wires, attitude, Shoddy Work, unnecessary work, poorly trained workers, Incompetent

Whatever you do, STAY away from Verizon DSL Internet Service in Philadelphia. Verizon isrunning a SCAM. They sold me 10Mbps DSL service when I switched from cable fourmonths ago. I ran a speed test and discovered I was getting 1989 56k modemspeeds. Called Verizon and the ignorant woman in repairs left me a message 1Mbpsis good, when I am paying for 10Mbps. I filed a complaint with the PUC and aftertomorrow will hire a contractor to repair the damage done by Verizon and takelegal action for false advertisement on the DSL. FIOS is not in my area yet.

For 4 months I have not had service and Verizon has failed to fix what they screwed up.in the end, everything falls on the repair supervisor, who should be fired.

When I asked for IdentaRing for a second line, initially the order was placed only to be told a week later, I had to pay for a full second line install, which was deliberately butchered by Chuck.
