Essentially my situation is as follows: I was prescribed medicine by my provider in the years 2009. I sent in copies of the receipts and Sedgwick has refused to reimburse me for the costs of the medicine. Now, they require medical documentation which is something they never told me before and given the fact that it is 2012 you can see where someone would be upset about not being reimbursed. Simple fac tis that the insurance company has done this for so long and has basically pulled out all the stops to avoid paying; prompts this complaint. Calls made to Sedgwick have gone unanswered plus a t the end of the message it states that if you represented by a lawyer, they will not even say BOO to you. They will defend their money to the hilt and use any excuse to avoid paying you. Trust that.
