I recently joined La Fitness. I put several family names on the Vip list. It was acknowledged that my 16 year old daughter does not have and Id... She does not drive... Allegedly the lady at the front desk gives me an issue about this... Which is why I explained to her... That my daughter is on the Vip list. She seemed rather hostile towards me telling this... And explained to her that You can speak with Dave... Supposedly she cannot see the this Vip list. I figured she would be able to view this and I pay for a day pass for my daughter? The lady can tell that I was not happy because I am a member and I am being hassled??? Ferrah, or whatever her name is, explained that "she could work out but next time she needs and Id?" "My daughter does not drive?" My daughter and I went back to the dressing room and I realized that this gym is not worth it... 1) I am now not in the mood to work out. 2) I am a new member being hassled already 3) You get what you pay for... So worth canceling membership and going somewhere else and pay more so I can get more respect.
I never had any issues in a private gym with respect. Since this is not an issue about cost for me... I want no issues when I show up with my family member willing to pay for day. Pass. "Yes when I left I told her that she needs to learn customer service skills" but that was because she told me I was rude? Really? I think this lady has a lot to learn that not everyone you encounter are passive and just because you speak your mind does not make you rude but makes you more in control... I really wish this company will properly train there staff. Not everyone wants to be a hassled member, which in me book is rude...
