We ordered the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer from an infomertial on the tv. While ordering the operator tried to give all kinds of FREE stuff to go with my juicer like 4 trial subscriptions to a list of magizines they were offering. I declined the offer to the free magizines because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of canceling them later.
Along with the offers of free stuff was one for Jack Lalanne Power Juice Formula (a powder that is mixed into the fresh juice for an extra energy boost-as it was explained to me). The offer was for 1 free can then they would send me one every month afterward and charge it to my credit card. I told them I was not interested in this either.
To make a long story shorter, it is now a couple of months later and I have been sent 2 additional cans of the formula with no info on how to return and get my money back on the product I didn't want in the first place.
The contact info listed above doesn't work. The phone number gives an endless stream of bad music while it tells you the operators are all busy-please wait. After 20 or more minutes i would give up, I called them 5 other times at differing times of the day with NO results. On top of it all the call is not toll free, so in this ordeal I did rack up a bit of a long distance phone bill trying to contact them. During the call they gave an email address where they could be reached and a web site where they could be reached. Both bits of info proved to be usless (dead ends) also.
The only thing left is the address in which i will send back the Formula stuff via CERTIFIED MAIL with a strong letter stating my opinion of this problem and a demand for my money back. To cover all the bases in this I will change my Credit card account number and put a stop payment on future charges so that I will not be billed for this product ever agian (advice from my bank).
