I took my 14 year old son and his 1/2 brother, Casey who was visiting from out of state to Great Clips located at Olive Avenue & 107th Avenue in the Safeway lot in Sun City. I will not repeat that mistake. Casey asked for a trim and got a flat top. My son asked for a slight trim and got a military buzz cut. The back was crooked, too. When I asked the haircut woman, Maria to fix it before I'd pay her, she argued with me. "That is how he asked for it, " she stated. I said, "Yeah, right. He wanted a crooked haircut." Then she told me "he asked for clipper #..."I interupted her with "he doesn't even know the clipper #'s. So, don't try that one on me."
Casey had given his coupon to the haircut woman. My son gave his coupon to the other haircut woman with the mole on her face. She doesn't remember this. Casey & I both witnessed this. When I confronted her on this, she said I was lying. I asked her if she took medication for her condition. She said no. I called the 800 # and put a complaint in with the man who said he was the manager of the district. He didn't seem to care. He simply asked what he could do for me and when I told him nothing, I would never return to that location or another Great Clips again. Simply to properly train employees so as not to lose more clients would be a good suggestion.
Did I mention that neither of the 2 employees knew how to work the computer / register. We did not pay for the crooked / repaired haircut that should only have been a trim. He was trying to grow his hair out in the current hedgehog style. We now go to a friend who is a professional hairdresser & knows her sh*t.
