My wife and i purchased Medicare D the MedicareRx Preferred plan sponsored by AARP thinking with AARP's reputation that we could trust the provider. We have never been so wrong!
We have had Medicare D since it was first offered to defray our rising drug costs. Sadly, it has done nothing but add an insurance premium that continues to increase, along with the cost of the co-pays for the same drugs.
Every year generic drugs are move to a higher tier. One of our drugs went from $14.00 to $86.00. Six times the cost!
I called and was told that the price was correct and they sent a letter out detailing the increase, which neither my wife or i received.
How can they get away with this kind of rip off?
