I ordered off a television ad for a free sample of Suvaril and was told I had to agree to the shipping charges and had to sign up for a monthly shipment.
I told them to forget it that I was only interested in the free sample.
The woman on the phone assured me if I agreed to pay $4.50 for the sample for shipping charges then they would send that out and I could place an order if I liked the product.
She assured me that if I give my credit card number for the $4.50 that no other charges would be placed on my card.
I not only had $4.50 charged on my card but also a charged for $70.00. They refused to put it back on my card and I told her this was the same as fraud and theft and that I planned to call my bank and tell them that. I have filed destesting this charge refusal with my bank.
I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in Cincinnati and the FTC and consumer's protection agencies.
